Action-packed battle royale game
Knives Out is a free-to-play battle royale FPS game developed by NetEase Games. Similar to titles such as PUBG, Farlight 84, Call of Duty: Mobile, and Free Fire, a number of players must drop on a huge map and battle it out until a squad or a lone survivor remains.
Knives Out pits players against each other on a map filled with weapons, armor, vehicles, health-boosting kits, and other miscellaneous equipment. As time passes, the play zone shrinks, and anyone outside it can inflict damage and eventually die if you can’t make it on time, aside from battling against others.
Be the victor
Knives Out lets you choose three maps for a battle royale session: Fighting Field, the original map in the game that sometimes features snowy weather; Peninsula of Hurricane, which is the biggest map with a variety of terrain. Lastly, Tokyo Royale replicates famous districts like Ginza and Shinjuku and landmarks like Tokyo Tower. The controls are similar to those of other BR games, so they are easy to grasp.
The game features weapons such as pistols, assault rifles, snipers, and machine guns at your disposal. There are common vehicles with two-seaters, four-seaters, and even three-seaters. The play zone is also a concern on top of the player encounters. Rich graphics, realistic recoil, and action will keep you going on your feet. There’s also an Item Shop where you can purchase skins and other valuables with points or real money.
While it can run on older devices, it’s important to note that queueing can take some time because of its smaller player base. Like Free Fire, the game can also handle a maximum of 60 players, compared to other battle royale games that can host 100 players on end. Nonetheless, this is a great game you can play with friends or yourself and with devices that aren’t that powerful.
A great addition to the battle royale genre
Knives Out is a solid addition to the established genre. Its map design, variety of weapons, and other things available on the map bring life to the gameplay. Aside from the common specials in similar titles, such as the play zone, this is designed to run on older devices. Sure, the queuing can take time, and it has 60 players instead of 100, but the fun is almost the same.
